Project Information
If approved, the Project is to be located around 90 kilometres south of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and would involve approximately 77 kilometres of new pipeline and related facilities, of which about 30.5 kilometres would be contiguous with existing pipeline right of way.
The pipeline has been designed for an initial capacity of approximately 27.5 million cubic metres (972 MMcf/d) of sweet gas. The construction, whose projected costs are estimated at $157 million, would start in November 2012. The pipeline is scheduled to be in service on 1 April 2013.
