Project Information
- North Montney Detailed Route hearing has been cancelled as parties have withdrawn [Filing A75056]. If you have any questions please contact us by calling 1-800-899-1265 (toll-free) or by email at NorthMontneyProject@cer-rec.gc.ca.
- The National Energy Board (NEB) will hold a detailed route hearing in response to a written statement of opposition to a portion of the proposed detailed route of the North Montney Project.
- The NEB will convene an oral public hearing beginning on Tuesday, 23 February 2016 at 9:00 AM (local time) in Dawson Creek, BC. See the Hearing Order [Filing A74475], which sets out the procedures to be followed.
- The detailed route hearing will relate only to the Groundbirch Compressor Station (SW 35-78-16W6) and will only be concerned with:
- The best possible detailed route of the pipeline; and
- The most appropriate methods and timing of constructing the pipeline.
- The NEB will not reconsider matters that were addressed in the North Montney Project (GH-001-2014) hearing [Folder 1060220], such as the need for the project.

Support for Participants
Process Advisor
The main role of a Process Advisor is to support you if you participate in the hearing. They can also answer questions about the NEB’s process. You can us by calling 1-800-899-1265 (toll-free) or emailing NorthMontneyProject@cer-rec.gc.ca.
Application to Participate
The Application to Participate (ATP) process was held from 4 December 2015 to 8 January 2016. The process is now closed.
Once the Board reviews all of the applications, and makes a decision on who can participate and how (Intervenor or Commenter), a list of participants will be issued.
The Board will decide if late applications will be accepted and whether you will be allowed to participate. Please contact the Process Advisor to discuss the filing process for a late application to participate.
Attention
Email is not a valid method of filing regulatory documents with the NEB. Applications to participate received by email will not be considered.
