Application Information

On 1 May 2013, TransCanada PipeLines Limited (TransCanada) filed a Review Application [Filing A51699] with the National Energy Board. TransCanada requested that the Board review and then vary the RH-003-2011 Decision and Order TG-002-2013 [Filing A51040].

On 11 June 2013, the Board dismissed the Review Application in its entirety. The Board also indicated that it deemed part of TransCanada's Review Application requesting variances to the Mainline's tariff (the Tariff Proposals) as a separate application to amend the Mainline's tariff. The Board directed TransCanada to re-file the part of the Review Application dealing with the Tariff Proposals by 17 June 2013.

The Board will hear the merits of the Tariff Proposals pursuant to the streamlined procedure set out in the RH-003-2011 Decision [Filing A51040], modified to include cross examination.

Date and Location of the Hearing

The oral portion of the hearing, consisting of cross-examination and reply argument, took place in Calgary, Alberta in September 2013 over nine days.
