REGULATIONS AMENDING THE NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD ONSHORE PIPELINE REGULATIONS
AMENDMENTS
1. The National Energy Board Onshore Pipeline Regulations[1] are amended by adding the following after section 47.1:
DAMAGE PREVENTION PROGRAM
47.2 A company shall develop, implement and maintain a damage prevention program that anticipates, prevents, manages and mitigates damage to its pipeline and meets the requirements set out in section 4 of the National Energy Board Pipeline Damage Prevention Regulations, Part II.
2. Subsection 55(1) of the Regulations is amended by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (d), by adding “and” at the end of paragraph (e) and by adding the following after paragraph (e):
- (f) the damage prevention program referred to in section 47.2.
COMING INTO FORCE
3. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
