Track A Funding Recipients

Contributions of up to $150,000 have been awarded to organize and host engagement with multiple Indigenous–led organizations and submit a written summary of feedback by 20 December 2024.

Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committees

The Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committees (IAMCs) for the Trans Mountain and Enbridge Line 3 Replacement bring together Indigenous representatives and Government of Canada counterparts to provide strategic oversight advice to government and regulators, and to monitor the construction and operation of the projects. The IAMCs have provided advice on the OPR and Filing Manuals update project based on their experience and oversight of these two major projects. The Committees have recently developed a workplan in collaboration with the CER to support ongoing engagement on the OPR and Filing Manuals update project through its unique and established engagement processes with the member communities they represent. The CER has awarded each Committee with a $150,000 contribution agreement to support these engagement efforts.
